The dragonflies now fill the skies and the butterflies are bountiful.   We’ll chase, and hopefully catch a few and maybe they will perch on a finger before flying off.  We’ll also see if we can find any of the salamanders and snakes that still survive there!  Call or e-mail Stewart to reserve a spot ecostewart@gmail.com / 206 932-7225  Though the primary target audience for this program will be kids, all adults who attend will be guaranteed to learn new and fascinating bits about nature!  We’ll meet in front of the Lodge building by the Camp Long entrance.

I am wondering if you are available on the afternoon of Monday August 12th, Thursday August 15th, or Friday August 16th? Anytime between 12-4?
I am hosting a camp for the graduates of my daycare program (25 kids- ages 5-10 yrs old) at Camp Long in West Seattle and I am trying to fill their afternoons with some really cool activities. There will be 10 preschoolers and 15 school-age kids so we could split them up into two groups if that’s easier?
Please give me a call at (206) 708-0480
    Thanks! Jena Inghram

Jena, I would love to take your group out on any of these dates. Call me or e-mail me. My phone number (land line) is 206 932-7225 or e-mail: ecostewart@gmail.com I struggle with website management, and I’m still trying to figure out when you sent this. I hope I’m not slow in replying, I don’t check my website messages every day.

And Jena, now that I “approved” the comment I am able to see the whole comment, including the date posted (I was only able to find a cut off part of it before “approving” it), I see your phone number. I am not at a phone right now, but I will call you later this morning or early afternoon. With 25 kids and any chaperones, it would indeed be better in 2 groups. We’ll work out the details when I call you.

In case you didn’t see it yet, I thought you might enjoy this biographical piece that was recently posted in the West Seattle Herald’s on line edition, and I hope to see in this afternoon’s print edition (or possibly in a week): http://www.westseattleherald.com/2013/07/18/features/woods-stewart-wechsler
