Join Stewart on an adventure with your family around Camp Long’s 68 acres of habitat. Engage with and learn about everything (partly depending on the season) from the Ensatina salamanders

to the Banana Slugs, the Barred Owls to the Cooper’s Hawks in the woods, the dragonflies by the pond and butterflies to the hoverflies and snakes in the sunny spots, and from the Stinging Nettles to Hedge Nettles. Help the native community by learning an alien weed and pulling one. If you can see it, hear it or smell it Stewart can probably tell you what it is and some of its fascinating story!  While the program will be quite kid friendly, regardless of your knowledge level, you will be able to learn things you didn’t know and have fun doing so.  E-mail or call to reserve a spot – 206 932-7225  Drop-ins can check if there is space.
