This Barred Owl was photographed by Minette Layne in West Seattle. Via Flcikr Creative Commons. We’ll listen and look for Lincoln’s Barred Owls and their signs from the poop and pellets under their perches to their feathers that float down to the forest floor.   While we’re there, we’ll learn about Lincoln’s other natural treasures from the other birds, like the Purple Finches perched in the tree tops that rarely come down, to the creepers, creeping up the crevices of those trees, from the native plants that still survive in Seattle only at Lincoln, to those you might nibble on.  Program will be adult level, but appropriate for kids too.  Meet at the kiosk at the north parking lot across from Rose St.  Call or e-mail to reserve a spot: 206 932-7225 (land) or ecostewart@gmail.com
